Change is a process. It is created over time through self-exploration, self-awareness, and personal growth. It is not easy, it is not quick, and at times, it is not fun. And yet, with the right synergy and support of your own personal counselor … It can be life-altering!

Make it happen.

  • Mental Strength Coaching

My purpose is to guide my client’s discovery of their individual and collective greatness and silence cultural messages surrounding not being good enough, strong enough, or perfect enough. I help my clients build the skills and resilience they need to deal with everything that comes their way and still find enjoyment and appreciation for the process.

I believe that change occurs when vulnerability becomes a strength and we thrive to a higher level of performance by intentionally aligning our personal wellness goals with support for the greater good of our community.

  • Awaken Change | Athlete Mental Health Advocacy

My commitment to whole-body health informs my work as I strive to shift organization and community messaging for the betterment of athletes' mental wellbeing.

Marc’s Story

mental strength coach, athletes, counseling, consulting

My passion for health and fitness is integral to my treatment process, allowing me to support my clients' growth through a holistic and integrative approach. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Encinitas, California. I earned my Master of Arts in Sports Business from the University of San Francisco in 2007 and my Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, in 2012.

With over 15 years of experience, I have worked with individuals, couples, children, and families in diverse settings, including private practice, educational mental and behavioral health services, social service agencies, and with athletes and sports organizations. I began my career in behavioral health, serving families of children and adults with special needs, and have since expanded my practice to include various populations through individual, couple, and family work.

I believe that meaningful change occurs when we align our personal wellness goals with the greater good of our community. My aim is to provide each client with a supportive and engaging environment to navigate their journeys and develop healthy roadmaps for future success. I look forward to being a part of your growth.
