]Negative emotions aren't great to feel but they do clarify that something's wrong. Clarify what the emotion is telling you and then use the information to set a boundary or get your needs met. When you travel on a plane you always hear, "put your oxygen mask on first." That's because if you've passed out you can't help anyone else. Apply this metaphor to your daily life.Let go of the coulds, woulds, and shoulds because they aren't helpful. The natural consequences will be there so you don't need to layer on extra guilt. Say yes to you and no to other commitments and start feeling more like yourself. If all else fails, breath your way through the difficult moments of your day to accept and let go.
