Do you know what helps you feel calm or rested? What activities do you do that create that? Is it reading a book, writing, painting? A healthy habit every week is to aim for a solid chunk of time where you can engage in this activity. What time are you going to bed and waking up? Is it consistent? Aim for at least 7-8 hours of sleep daily and the same wake/sleep times. This will reset your body to its natural circadian rhythm. Sleep is the time where your body heals so rest up.Try your very hardest to listen to what your body is telling you. Are you tired, sore, energetic, hungry, thirsty? Our bodies are so intuitive and our brain usually overrides the signals it's giving us. To listen to your body you do have to be quiet and present with yourself to identify what is being communicated.Lastly, take 1-2 minutes daily to yourself to get outside, breathe, and reset. Small mindful breaks throughout the day can help you maintain a sense of calm composure as life continues to try to push your buttons.
